HeCareZA is a digital platform promoting men’s mental health and well-being. Men can access advice and support and even learn intervention techniques to help stop violence against women and children.

We created this content film to honour and praise the stand-out men who are standing up to misogyny, sexism and gender-based violence. By recognising these men as allies in the fight against violence against women and children, we aim to engage, encourage and support their efforts to have healing and self-reflective conversations with other men.

This creates positive behavioural change as we normalise kind, respectful, responsible, open-minded and empathetic behaviour in men. It also sets an example for others to follow and inspires them to join the HeCareZA movement and make use of the dialogue skill kits on the website.
